The site overall is a ministry site as much as it is a dating and matching service. If you are led by God to serve the world you live in, then this site may be what you are looking for. Your cost of membership is based on your local community and the size of the group. But by building groups of people in that community, you have something to share with each other, and you can build a common bond with them serving God through projects.
When you go to an online dating site, most of the time you come away with a profile of the people you may want to meet but you won’t have the opportunity unless you make the time. Here with the local groups, you rub elbows with those local to you in projects and get togethers. This can provide a place for singles to support each other and make new friendships that can last.
The free membership at SinglesOfFaith.comprovides you with regional searches, but no pictures are displayed of those profiles found for you.When you are ready to commit, you can pay the current membership rate and become a paid member. This allows you to get closer to your home area in your searches, and you can see the pictures of your potential mates or friends.
SinglesOfFaith.com is an encouragement site as well as a matching site. They have quite a few links to internal and external resources to help you build your faith in God and to walk closer to him. There is a “how am I doing in my walk with Christ” survey for your personal use. Much is also said about compatability and chemistry between people. They want to work with you and help you find the person who is right for you.
No site is entirely perfect, and this one is no different. I found was that their website is being re-done, so some links didn’t work. A group of links I clicked on all ended up at the same site. You won’t get stuck at a page, but it’s frustrating knowing that you could be going where you want to go instead. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
This site is supposed to have at least an internal mailbox system, which isn’t easily found, and isn’t obvious unless you are in the “logged-in menu”. Then the link is within the top link saying “I’d like to check my messages please”. Unlike other sites which have chat, messenger, and other means to contact individuals, this site only has the mailbox. This isn’t all bad if that’s what you want or need.
Overall it’s a good site with a correct focus both on their members and on God and the Bible.
