CHRISTIAN PASSIONS
Right from the start let me say that I found nothing inappropriate at this site, unless you are offended by some of the third party advertisers. I did not see anything inappropriate in the few times I was at the site, but there were non-christian ads being displayed.
Now to the real stuff. Christian Passions is part of the Passions Network, and operates as the rest of the Passions Network sites do. The way that works is that you sign up on one site, but your information goes into a database (as it does at membersguo sites), but this one is shared by all sites in the Passions Network which you can review if interested. There are sites like Yoga Passions, or Gun Lovers Passions, or even Republican Passions. So you can be part of the Christian Passions network and part of the claimed 110+ webites, all without having to enter your information in the other sites of the network.
What the site owners claim to be doing is to mix the web experience with a social network type of experience. I’m a simple guy, so my way of thinking says that if I want to join this site, I want my information to stay at that site and nowhere else. If you don’t mind, there is nothing wrong with that.
There didn’t appear to be any “meat” at the site. It’s basically “Hi, we’re a Christian dating network. Join here!”. There are links to chats, forums, and video channels. It’s sort of like Hulu.com is to movies.
Anyway if you are looking for the possibility of finding a serious relationship, I’m not sure this is the site. But if you are of the Facebook and Twitter mentality, you may enjoy the different sites the company has to offer.
